DAILY INSPIRATION: Classified Moto CM185T

Newest to roll off the Classified Moto garage floor is this CM 185T.

The intent behind the build was to design a bike that is inviting to a beginning rider. That rider being Christina Cairo, a friend of John's through the advertising world.

The outcome interests me quite a bit. Like Classified's CM, the '81 SR250 I'll be designing will also be for a beginning rider. I like that there are no distractions. The bike has been brought back to it's most simple form. No gauges or readouts flashing at you. All the concentration is focused on where you're going and the scenery around you. It's a point I'd like to carry over into the SR build. Oh, and that nickel plating is straight gorgeous.

Just wanted to say thanks to Chris at BikeEXIF and Alex at GasCap Kustom Kulture for featuring the CX build. I'm pretty stoked on the exposure, it means a lot to know I'm doing something right. Project SR has some shoes to fill, but there's still so much room to improve and skills to acquire.

Here it is, the full shoot on Project CX. Although it will likely never be done, the project has reached it's intentions. It's meant to be a bike for the city. A daily rider around the unforgiving roads of Chicago. Able to absorb rock chips, hail storms, and clueless people driving big SUV's. 

Not only was this my first build, but my first motorcycle. I learned a ton, and aimed at doing everything on my own. Anything I couldn't learn within a few weeks practice, I outsourced to those who could.
